The object of checkers is simple, capture all of your opponents pieces by jumping them, or block them so that they cannot be moved. Your pieces may only move away from you, to a connected diagonal square that is unoccupied. If an opponents piece occupies a diagonally connected square, you may capture your opponents piece by jumping to the next diagonal space in the same direction if unoccupied. If you can move one of your pieces to the other end of the Bord, it will become a king, and can move forward and reverse.
