FlashBack is quite simply the fastest way to back up a Blitz drive. Just one double click and a copy of the drive is zipped up onto the desktop. If the drive is subsequently lost or damaged, there are recent copies of the files to revert to. Because FlashBack is so convenient to use, just one double click, the backup files should be very close to those that were lost.

FlashBack is so simple it does not even have an installation program, it is just one file! There is no need to install it anywhere, it can instantly be used on any PC. So why back up a Blitz drive anyway? The answer is if it is used to actually STORE files rather than just to transfer them. For instance, a timesheet and work notes may be kept on a Blitz drive, constantly updated with important information. Working between different PCs on different networks, some of which are not connected to the internet, the use of a Blitz drive may well be the most convenient way to always have access to these files. FlashBack overcomes the risk of file loss due to Blitz drive loss or damage.

Blitz drives can easily be misplaced, or damaged (snapped off while sticking out of the side of the PC), and as such although convenient, are dangerous places to keep files. With FlashBack, a simple double click, possibly about once a day, ensures the safety of the information in the Blitz drive files.
